PURPOSE:

Purpose:

We are engaged in a relentless spiritual warfare. As we strive to obey God's commands and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all whom we can, and open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God" (Acts 26:18), our adversary the Devil does all that he possibly can to try to thwart our efforts.“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" Soldiers in the Lord's army must therefore "put on the whole armor of God" (Ephesians 6:10-18), and learn to skillfully wield the powerful spiritual weapons that God has entrusted us with, particularly the "shield of faith" and the "sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God".

We are confident of victory, because God's Word has promised us that "He [Jesus] who is in you is greater than he [the Devil] who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).If a man is entangled in the things of this world, caught by their many shackles, and seduced by the evil passions, it is very hard for him to recognize that there is another invisible struggle and another inner warfare. But, after detaching himself from all visible things and worldly pleasures, and beginning to serve God, he then becomes capable of recognizing the nature of this inner struggle and unseen warfare against the passions.

Yet, as we said, unless he first achieves outward detachment by aspiring to serve God totally with his whole soul, he will not recognize the secret passions of evil and his inner fetters. On the contrary, he will be in danger of thinking that he is healthy and not ailing, when in fact he is full of wounds and nourishes unseen passions. But if he has despised desire and glory, he may first become aware of these inner passions and then fight against them, calling on Christ with faith and receiving from heaven the weapons of the Spirit: the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit.

Folks…we are at war…you have now entered the ‘Matrix” of Spiritual Warfare

SPIRITUAL WARFARE STATEMENT

In THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST and THE POWER OF HIS BLOOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, ALMIGHTY GOD and THE HOLY WORD OF GOD we pray and take authority over the kingdom of evil.

The Mission of Men's Ministries:

Mission Statement:
The Mission of Men's Ministries:

Build men of integrity, intimacy, identity, and influence by encouraging men to take the next step in walking with Christ, and reproducing their walk in the lives of other men.

However, often a man’s heart is driven into the darkest regions of his soul, denied the very things he most deeply desires by abandoning the truth and releasing his soul to transparency. We hide behind our personalities creating a tough-guy image. It’s a brilliant disguise through deception. This is the society we live in today. Men can’t show weakness or hurt because we will be exposed to our peers. We must act as machines and stop at nothing to get ahead. We paint the perfect picture of having it all together...but we don’t. Why don’t men play the “man”? Why is it that when men look in their hearts they don’t discover something heroic or courageous, but instead find anger, lust, fear, and self-pity? God’s intention is for us to explore, build, conquer, and be wild. Are YOU willing to live to the level of risk God invites us to? Something inside holds us back from pursuing our true selves–-are we truly “Wild at Heart”?

This mission statement says a lot in a few words. Think about it, becoming men of integrity! This means more than just here at MRC, but everywhere. It means everything we do, must be done with integrity. Integrity with our family, our business associates, our friends, and even people we do not know. What is our identity? The world says we have no meaningful identity. But, what does Christ say? We have our identity: Him!

Our Ministries is devoted to helping men answer these and other questions about life and encourage men to become all that God created them to be. You are on your CONQUEST to discover your born identity in Christ…Rest in God’s presence and absorb the gift and be fruitful onto others as Christ has done for you.
